Local flavour is also to be found in some of the restaurants which serve regional food in traditional setting.
The mountain climate zone of Zakopane is characterised by a relatively low average year temperature, around 5 Celsius degrees, as well as by the activating effect it has on a human body. It improves the general health condition, accelerates the metabolism, and helps to cure a number of diseases. .
